Refund policy

Returns & Refunds

We want you to love the way your Hug My Body products feel and fit. If something isn't quite right, here's how our returns process works.

7-Day Returns

You have 7 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it.

Bras may be tried on for fit, but returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed and in their original condition, with all tags attached and in their original packaging.

You will also need your order number or proof of purchase.

How to Request a Return

To start a return, email orders@hugmybody.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • The item/s you would like to return
  • Your collection address
  • The reason for your return
  • Where applicable, photos of the item and its packaging
  • A WhatsApp contact number, if available

Once your return has been accepted, Hug My Body will arrange and cover the cost of a courier to collect your return.

Return courier collections are currently only available for orders delivered within South Africa.

Please contact us before sending any products back so that we can arrange your return correctly.

Panties & Hygiene Products

For hygiene reasons, panties cannot be returned or exchanged once their packaging or hygiene seal has been opened or removed.

This does not affect your rights if the item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or where we are otherwise required to accept the return under applicable South African consumer law.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us as soon as possible if your item is damaged, defective or you have received the wrong product.

Email orders@hugmybody.com with your order details and, where possible, photos showing the issue so that we can assist you.

Your 7-day change-of-mind return period does not limit your rights relating to defective goods under South African consumer law.

Where goods do not meet the quality requirements of the Consumer Protection Act, you may have the right to return them within 6 months of delivery and request a repair, replacement or refund, as provided for by applicable law.

Where a return is due to a defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied product, Hug My Body will cover the applicable return costs.

Sale & Final Sale Items

Purchasing an item on promotion or sale does not affect any statutory rights you may have under South African consumer law.

Items specifically marked as Final Sale may be excluded from our voluntary returns policy where legally permitted.

Any Final Sale condition does not exclude or limit rights you may have under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges.

The fastest way to get the size, colour or item you want is to return your original item. Once your return has been accepted, you can place a new order for your preferred item.

Refunds

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process and reflect the refund in your account.

Where a statutory cooling-off right applies, refunds will be processed in accordance with the time periods and requirements prescribed by applicable South African law.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund and you have not received it, please contact us at orders@hugmybody.com.
